    Foster Village

    Benefit Concert Marketing Campaign

    Challenge

    As part of Project Advance Austin, a project-management course at UT, my team partnered with Foster Village. Serving as the creative marketing lead, I designed event posters, a sponsorship packet, a t-shirt, and created an informational presentation to promote the internship program my team developed in collaboration with UT Career Services.

    Foster Village needed to promote a spring benefit concert with very limited time to attract sponsors and community participation.

    Strategy

    Results

    • Produced branded promotional materials (posters, sponsorship packet, t-shirt) under a tight deadline.

    • Supported community outreach efforts by equipping my team with professional-quality materials to share with potential sponsors.

    • Contributed to team project management, applying frameworks learned in class.

    • Increased corporate sponsorships by 400%.

    • Raised over $7,000 in donations at the event.

    • Secured a long-term internship pipeline between Foster Village and UT Austin.

    • Earned the IBM Project Management Certificate upon course completion.
